Mr. and Mrs.

Once again, I'm coming in just under the wire with my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I used the sketch to create a classic, elegant wedding (or anniversary!) card with stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps.

Mr. & Mrs. card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps
I started out by stamping the Doily image at the top and bottom of a gray panel in white pigment ink.  My MISTI made it super easy to get a good impression and to stamp the same section of the stamp on both sides of the paper for a balanced look.  After stamping, I heat embossed the images in white to give it a textured look.  The "Mr. & Mrs." and "happily ever after" sentiments from the All Occasions 1 set were stamped in the space between the doilies in black pigment ink and also heat embossed.  I matted the finished panel on shiny silver cardstock, then adhered it to a darker gray card base to complete the monochromatic look.

Materials Used:
Doily and All Occasions 1 stamp sets, I Steel Got It, You're Such a Gray-cious Host, and Sterling Silver cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Recollections Snow embossing powder (Michaels); black embossing powder (Stampin' Up!)
