Birthday for a Boy
I mentioned a few days ago that my stash of birthday themed cards was pretty low, so I've been working on building it back up. This one is a simple masculine design based on the current sketch at Paper Play Sketches.
For this one, I let a fun die cut piece do most of the work. After using the Happy Birthday Border die from Lil' Inker Designs to cut a piece of dark brown cardstock, I edged the cut piece with blue cardstock and placed it across a panel of grid patterned paper. To accent it, I arranged clusters of three white matte enamel dots above and below the die cut strip. The white matte dots are a great accent for masculine designs! The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating blue card base.
Materials Used:
Pacific Point and Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Monster Stew-2 Tbsp. Slime designer paper (Jillibean Soup); Happy Birthday Border die (Lil' Inker Designs); white matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet)
