You Warm My Heart

Here's my card for the current sketch at Match the Sketch.  I made a wintery love themed design based on the layout.

One of the mittens from Reverse Confetti's Smitten Mittens set is my focal image.  I stamped the mitten in teal pigment ink, then cut it out with the matching die.  The backdrop for the mittens was made from a pair of coordinating patterned papers--one with snowflakes and the other a coordinating gray dotted pattern.  After matting the panels on dark gray cardstock, I adhered them to a light blue cardstock panel.  I placed a shiny silver cardstock panel across the patterned pieces, then added the mitten on top, using foam tape for dimension.  A trio of silver sequins was arranged around the mitten for a bit more sparkle and shine.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating blue card base.  It matches the color of the stamped mitten better IRL than in the photo . . .
