Sprinkled with Love
Here's my card for this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try. I used the sketch to whip up a sugary sweet design featuring RC's Donut You Know stamps and dies.
I "cooked up" the donuts first, using the dies to cut out a kraft base and pink icing. The sprinkles were stamped in pink ink, the heat embossed in pink for a raised, sprinkles-like look. I arranged the donuts on a white panel framed with a bright pink frame cut with RC's All Framed Up die, using foam tape for dimension. I stamped the set's "sprinkled with lots of love" in pink ink on a pale pink banner strip cut with one of RC's Tag Me dies, then heat embossed it in pink. The sentiment strip was placed on an angle just beneath the donuts. The image panel was adhered to a kraft panel over a piece of coordinating pink polka dotted paper. The kraft panel was adhered to a coordinating pink card base.
Materials Used:
Donut You Know stamp set, Donut You Know, Tag Me and All Framed Up dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Angel Pink ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Raspberry Fizz and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Recollections pink dotted designer paper (Michaels); Grapefruit embossing powder (American Crafts); foam tape
