Let's Venti

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I used the sketch along with color and pattern elements from the inspiration photo when designing my card.

Let's Venti card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas
As soon as I saw the dotty mug in the photo, I knew I wanted to use the CutUps Cups Duo dies from The Cat's Pajamas for my focal image.  I cut the mug outline twice from white cardstock, then filled in the dots with scraps of pink cardstock.  The mugs were adhered to the lower left corner of a pink striped patterned paper panel.  The "let's venti" sentiment from the This Could be Vodka set was stamped on the panel in black ink.

After matting the patterned paper on coordinating pink cardstock, I adhered it to a white dot embossed panel, picking up both the dot pattern from the mug in the inspiration photo and the raised elements on the teapot in the photo's background.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating pink card base.

Materials Used:
This Could Be Vodka stamp set, CutUps Cups Duo dies (The Cat's Pajamas); Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Cakewalk 8x8 paper pack (October Afternoon); Spotted embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts);  foam tape
