With Love
Here's my card for this month's Where Creativity Meets C9 love themed challenge. I used a fall/Thanksgiving stamp set, Give Thanks, to put this love themed creation together. It's great when you can stretch your "seasonal" stamps like this!
It doesn't show well in the photo, but my design started out with a pale pink watercolored background. Once the watercolors dried, I stamped the solid heart from Concord & 9th's Give Thanks set over the painted panel in bright pink pigment ink. The "with love" text from the same set was stamped over the heart in black pigment ink. I matted the panel on black cardstock, then adhered it to a bright pink textured card base, angling it for interest. A trio of sparkly silver enamel dots arranged around the heart completed the design.
Materials Used:
Give Thanks stamp set (Concord &9th); Memento Luxe Rose Bud and Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Melon Mambo and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); watercolors (Michaels); silver enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet)
