You're Out of This World

Here's my card for the current (for just a short while!) CAS(e) this Sketch challenge.  I paired Mama Elephant's Space Bears stamp set with a pretty inky background to create this design.

My background was made with two different distress inks, one purple and one blue, and some water pressed on to a piece of watercolor paper.  While the inked panel dried, I colored up the bear image using Copic markers.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the bear's helmet is covered with a clear epoxy sticker for a glass-like look. The moon was created with a piece of a circle cut from shimmery white cardstock and debossed with a dotted pattern.  Once the background dried, I added the moon and bear (using foam tape for dimension), then stamped the "you're out of this world" sentiment in purple ink along the curve of the moon.  I filled in the sky with a trio of stamped silver stars, then adhered the panel to a dark purple card base.
