You Color My World

Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  The pretty bouquet of flowers that I watercolored earlier this week for this month's Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge was the perfect focal image for the layout.

You Color My World card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
The bouquet from the Paper Smooches Best Buds set was stamped in black pigment ink and heat embossed, then watercolored using Clean Color markers and an aqua brush.  I trimmed down the panel, then matted it on coordinating green cardstock.  The matted panel was layered on to a pale blue cared base, matching the water in the jar.  I stamped the "you color my world" sentiment from the Word Salad set was stamped on a narrow fishtail flag strip and placed just beneath the jar to complete the design.

Materials Used:
Best Buds and Word Salad stamp sets (Paper Smooches); Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black and Memento Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Clean Color markers (Zig); watercolor paper (Ranger); Sno Cone cardstock, Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Simply Chartreuse cardstock (Papertrey Ink); black embossing powder (Stampin' Up!)
