Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. I can't resist a teacher themed stamp set, so the super versatile Apple of My Eye stamp set and Apple Shaker dies from Lil' Inker Designs made their way to my house last week--and on to my card for this week's sketch!
The Apple Shaker dies helped to put this card together quickly. I created two apples, one red and one green, and assembled them to place on the edge of a chalkboard style panel created from gray cardstock "framed" with kraft cardstock. The "you're the apple of my eye" sentiment was stamped in the upper right corner of the gray panel in white pigment ink, then heat embossed in white for a chalk-like look. It's great that the stamp set has some non-teacher/school sentiments, too! I adhered the finished panel to a green card base over a red gingham cardstock strip.
