Color Throwdown 445-To the Moon and Back

It's time for another Color Throwdown!   Jodi is our hostess this week with a pretty palette--navy, light pink, white, and gold.  I used the colors to make a sweet nighttime scene featuring the Little Dreamers set from WPlus9.

I started out by making a watercolored background using two dark blue distress inks on a watercolor paper panel.  While the inked panel dried, I stamped, die cut, and colored the rest of the pieces for my card.  The moon and stars were cut from shimmery papers.  The bunny image was colored with Copic markers.  Once the panel was dry, I arranged the pieces on it, using foam tape to add dimension to the moon and bunny.  The set's "I love you to the moon and back" sentiment was stamped in gold ink next to the bunny, then heat embossed to pop against the background.  A few gold glitter enamel dot "stars" added a final bit of sparkle to the scene.  The finished panel was adhered to a navy card base.
