Color Throwdown 467-Teacher Thank You

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  I'm the challenge hostess this week and I chose a bold, vibrant color palette for inspiration--red, teal, and green.

Teacher Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
I used the photo for some inspiration for my card as well.  I kept with the apple theme, using the Apple Shaker dies from Lil' Inker Designs to create an apple. The die cut apple was adhered to a green cardstock panel using foam tape.  To go with the apple, I used LID's Teacher Word die to cut the word "teacher" twice, once from teal cardstock and once from craft foam. After layering the two pieces for dimension, I adhered them to the green panel, overlapping the die cut apple. The "thank you" sentiment from the Teacher Talk set was stamped just beneath the die cut word in black ink.   The finished panel was adhered to a teal card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD467.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd467 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our November guestie Kelly Lunceford, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Tara Chaussee.
