Fall Thanks in a Big Way

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (the leafy wreath, rustic color scheme, gold accents, script text) for my thank you card.

Fall Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse ConfettiThe larger of the dies in Reverse Confetti's Swirlies die set works perfectly as a wreath!  Here, I layered 4 kraft die cuts to give my wreath dimension, then adhered them to a cream panel with curved corners.  I dressed up the wreath with a trio of gold leaf die cuts with stitched detailing.  A twine bow "gathers" the leaves together and brings in the big bow detail fund on the wreath in the inspiration photo.  I adhered the panel to a piece of subtly patterned paper.  To bring in an element from the sign in the inspiration photo, I heat embossed the "thanks" sentiment from RC's In a Big Way stamp set in gold on a kraft banner strip.  After adding a strip of brown grosgrain ribbon beneath the banner for texture and contrast, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the cardfront.  The panel was matted on gold cardstock, then adhered to a cream card base.

Materials Used:
In a Big Way stamp set, Swirlies and Tag Me dies (Reverse Confetti); Delicata Golden Glitz ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); Buttercup 6x6 paper pad (Lily Bee Design); Stitched Autumn Icon dies (SugarPea Designs); Gold Zing embossing powder (American Crafts); twine (Lawn Fawn); brown grosgrain ribbon;  foam tape
