Love Struck

Love Struck card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
Here's my card for the current challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  I used the sketch to create a Valentine's Day design featuring the Love Struck stamp set from Paper Smooches.  My focal image is the set's cupid, colored up with Copic markers.  After die cutting the image I adhered it to a blue circle using foam tape for dimension.  The circle was matted on to a slightly larger red circle, then adhered to a light blue card base over a strip of patterned paper.  The arrows on the patterned paper go perfectly with the arrow in the cupid image!  To finish the card, I stamped the set's "love struck" sentiment on a fishtail flag strip in black ink and positioned the text just beneath the raised image.

Materials Used:
Love Struck stamp set, Love Struck Icons stamp set (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); Riding Hood Red and Bashful Blue cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Be Mine 6x6 paper pad (American Crafts); circle dies (Spellbinders); Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
