Go Get Carried Away

Go Get Carried Away card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Mama Elephant
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used a classic black, white, and red color scheme along with Mama Elephant's Pandamonium stamp set to create this cute birthday card.  The panda image was stamped in my favorite dark black ink, Versafine Onyx Black.  After die cutting the image, I used foam tape to adhere the panda to a white panel stamped with the set's balloon string.  Instead of coloring the set's balloon image, I stamped it on a red cardstock scrap, then used the coordinating die to cut it out.  I positioned it at the top of the stamped string using foam tape for dimension.  The image was matted on a black panel, leaving a wide border around the edges of the image panel.  I adhered the matted panel to a red card base, then stamped the birthday sentiment from the carried away stamp set beneath it to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Pandamonium and Carried Away stamp sets, Pandamonium dies (Mama Elephant); Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); foam tape
