Color Throwdown 483-Hope You're Cured Soon

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Broni is our hostess this week with a pretty color combination--coral, green, and kraft.  I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch to come up with this punny get well card.

Hope You're Cured Soon card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
My focal image is one of the piggies from Reverse Confetti's Cured stamp set.  I colored the pig with Copic markers, then cut it out with the matching die.  I used foam tape to adhere the pig to a kraft cardstock over a strip of green cardstock "grass."  The coral frame behind the pig was made from two squares that I pieced together to get a longer rectangle. I tucked the cut ends underneath the green strip to hide my piecing work.  A little white cloud, cut with a die from RC's Cool Friends set, added a little interest to the scene.  I stamped the set's "hope you're cured soon" sentiment on the green strip, then added a bunch of coral enamel dots around the pig and frame.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD483.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd483 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our March guestie Cheiron Brandon.
