Some Bunny Is on the Way

Some Bunny Is on the Way card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics "try a new technique"challenge.  I tried my hand at no line coloring with Copic markers.  It was hard, but I think I did okay for my first attempt!

I picked the bunnies from Lawn Fawn's Hello Baby set as my focal images.  After stamping the images in Memento Desert Sand ink, I went to work coloring them with my markers.  I had a little die cutting disaster with the big bunny on my first go-round (ugh!), so I ended up coloring the large bunny twice.  I made a simple scene to go with the bunnies with a blue background panel with a stitched die cut strip of green grass along the bottom.  To fill in the scene, I used the same no line coloring technique on the sun image from the Out of This World set, then added it to the upper left corner of the panel along with a shimmery white die cut cloud.  The "some bunny is on the way" sentiment was stamped just above the bunny duo in blue ink.  I went with blue instead of black because of the soft lines on the images.  The finished panel was adhered to pale blue card base that will be easy to write on.

 Materials Used:
Hello Baby and Out of This World stamp sets, Hello Baby and Out of this World dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Desert Sand ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Sprinkles ink (Taylored Expressions); markers (Copic); Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); foam tape
