It's time for this month's installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team! I put together a fun and festive design for this month's hop using stamps from Verve Stamps.
One of my favorite things about Verve is the fabulous fonts Julee uses for her stamps. This image from the Jolly Jingles set is no exception! I stamped the sentiment in black ink on a white circle, then used Copic markers to shade in the bells and bow. The sentiment was matted on a green circle, then adhered to a plaid panel over a piece of red grosgrain ribbon rescued from my scrap pile. For a whimsical touch, I added a pair of teeny, tiny jingle bells, strung together with a bit of twine, at the top of the sentiment panel where it meets the grosgrain ribbon. The bells may make the card hard to mail, but the cuteness is worth it! The finished panel was adhered to a green card base to match the mat behind the sentiment.
