Some Bunny Loves You

It's a few days late for Easter, I can't resist a bunny themed design!  This one was inspired by the current Fusion challenge.  I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (white background, colors, and bunny motif) to put together my design.

Somebunny Loves You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
I cut a triangle shape from a plain white cardstock panel.  After edging the angled pieces of the white panel with narrow pink cardstock strips, I positioned a piece of bunny patterned paper behind the triangular opening.  The panel was matted on coordinating green cardstock, then adhered to a pink card base to match the strips on the white panel.  The "some bunny loves you" sentiment from Mama Elephant's Honey Bunny stamp set was stamped on an angle beneath the triangle of patterned paper.  I debated adding some kind of embellishment (sequins? enamel dots?), but in the end, decided to keep the design clean and simple.

Materials Used:
Honey Bunny stamp set (Mama Elephant); Lemon Grass pigment ink (Avery Elle); Green Parakeet and Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Springtime 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design)
