Birthday Blooms

Happy Birthday to You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
It's my birthday today, so it seemed appropriate to share a birthday card, even though I'm really not a big fan of birthdays.  This one is based on the current sketch at Sunday Stamps and serves as my entry for this month's Reverse Confetti birthday themed Stock Your Stash challenge.

My focal panel is made from a decorative Lacy Scallop Circle die cut stamped with a pretty birthday sentiment from RC's All About You stamp set.  I matted the panel on pink cardstock to match the pink ink I used for the sentiment, then adhered the matted sentiment to a piece of lime green patterned paper.  I used RC's Blooms 'n Buds stamps and dies to create a cluster of flowers and leaves to dress up the sentiment panel.  Once I positioned the flowers, I adhered coordinating solid cardstock strips beneath the sentiment panel.  The finished panel was layered on to a coordinating lime green card base.

Materials Used:
Blooms 'n Buds and All About You stamp sets, Lime Green cardstock, Fun Times 6x6 paper pad, Blooms 'n Buds and Lacy Scallop Circles dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Pear Tart, Rose Bud, Dandelion, and Wedding Dress inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
