Rustic Floral Fusion

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (colors, woodgrain, and flowers) to create my design.

Rustic Floral Fusion card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from WPlus9I started out with a white card base with a strip of woodgrain paper adhered to the left side.  For a clean look, I edged the woodgrain panel with a narrow strip of pink cardstock.  My flowers and container were made with WPlus9's Fresh Cut Containers stamp set.  I stamped up a bunch of flower and leaf images and arranged the die cut pieces a bunch of different ways until I settled on something that I liked.   After adhering the flowers to the panel using a mix of tape from my tape runner and foam tape, I added more dimension by dotting the centers of some of the flowers with Liquid Pearls.  The "thinking of you" sentiment from the Fresh Cut Florals set was stamped in gray ink on another pale pink cardstock strip, then adhered to the top of the card using more foam tape to finish the card.

Materials Used:
Fresh Cut Containers and Fresh Cut Florals stamp sets, Fresh Cut Containers dies (WPlus9); Memento Luxe Angel Pink, Rose Bud, Pistachio, Olive Grove, and Gray Flannel inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Old White Fence designer paper (The Paper Studio); Buttercup and Petal Pink Liquid Pearls (Ranger); foam tape
