To a Deer Friend

I colored up a few winter critters from Lawn Fawn the other day and this cute little deer found a home on this card based on the current challenge at Global Design Project.  The partial circle cutout in the striped panel was just the perfect size for the image from the Toboggan Together set.  I adhered the striped panel with its silver backing to a red cardstock panel, then added the image in the open space using foam tape for dimension.  The deer's nose was dotted with a teeny, tiny red enamel dot to transform the image into a seasonal reindeer.

The set's "happy holidays" sentiment was stamped directly on the patterned panel.  I stamped "to a deer friend" on a narrow blue pattern.  After edging it with some fun light blue pom pom trim, I positioned the strip on the card over the striped panel.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating light blue card base.

Materials Used:
Toboggan Together stamp set, Toboggan Together dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Bashful Blue and Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); The Winter Matstack (DCWV); circle dies (Spellbinders); blue pom pom trim; foam tape
