It's Simple. I Love You
Here's my simple, graphic design for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I used pierced heart die cuts to represent the six elements that run in two lines across the top and bottom of the card. The hearts were cut from red cardstock and adhered to a gray cardstock panel with the help of a ruler to place everything straight and evenly. I used a pierced fishtail flag die to cut a pierced edge strip to adhere to the center of the gray panel. A sentiment from the Essential Sentiments stamp set was stamped in white pigment ink on black cardstock, then heat embossed and placed in the center of the pierced cardstock strip. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating red card base.
Materials Used:
Essential Sentiments stamp set, Steel Grey cardstock, Pierced Heart STAX and Pierced Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock, Snow embossing powder (Recollections)
