You're the Vodka to My Martini
Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I used the Let's Toast dies to create a vellum martini glass. For the liquid, I colored the back side of the vellum with a Copic marker. The glass was adhered to a white circle matted on a yellow pierced circle die cut. I paired the glass with a plaid patterned panel, edged with narrow yellow cardstock strips to match the mat under the image panel and positioned on a green card base. I stamped the "you're the vodka to my martini" sentiment from the Martini Time stamp set on a green fishtail flag strip to match the card base, then used foam tape to place the sentiment on the cardfront. A trio of green enamel dots arranged around the sentiment strip completed the design.
Materials Used:
Martini Time stamp set, Sour Apple and Lemon Drop cardstock, Let's Toast, Pierced Circle STAX, and Slanted Sentiment Strips dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); white vellum (The Paper Company); Kioshi 6x6 paper pad (Basic Grey); green enamel dots (Recollections); foam tape
