Warm and Fuzzy Hugs

Here's my card for the current Paper Craft Crew challenge. I used stamps from Mama Elephant for a sweet winter themed design.

Warm Hugs card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama ElephantMy focal image is from the Fuzzy Hugs stamp set.  I colored the bear pair up with Copic markers, then cut out the colored image with my Scan 'n Cut machine before adding some white flock to the pom pom on the bear's hat for a little texture. The image was adhered to a blue background panel with a strip of shimmery white "snow" along the bottom.  I matted the image panel on a darker blue panel, slightly off-center for interest.  The image was adhered to a snow patterned paper panel with a pair of cardstock strips along the left side.  The "warm hugs" sentiment from the Mini Merry Messages stamp set was stamped on a red stitched heart die cut.  The heart was positioned at the lower left corner of the image panel using foam tape for dimension.  So sweet!

Materials Used:
