You Rock

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  This is a super quick and simple design with a die cut as the "star" of the layout.

My star was created with two stitched star dies from Lil' Inker Designs.  I used them to make a shiny gold foil star with an open center.  After putting narrow foam tape strips on the back of the star I adhered it to a pale pink card base with a contrasting narrow strip of bright cardstock across the top.  The "you rock" sentiment from the SugarPea Designs You stamp set was stamped to the right of the star.  I thought about adding some sequins or enamel dots, but in the end, decided I liked the clean, uncluttered design as is.
