You Brightened My Day

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (dog theme, flowers, and color scheme) for this simple and sweet thank you design.

You Brightened My Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
My focal image is a bouquet-toting pup from Reverse Confetti's Party Pals stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers, then cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine before it was adhered to a white circle using foam tape for dimension. The image panel was matted on contrasting red cardstock before it was adhered to a pink cardfront over a trio of cardstock strips from my scrap pile--one bold buttercup yellow, one super narrow pink, and one wide classic gingham strip. The "you brightened my day" sentiment from RC's Word Up stamp set was stamped beneath the red gingham strip to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Party Pals and Word Up stamp set (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Lovely Lady and Bright Buttercup cardstock, Pure Poppy patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
