Color Throwdown 667-I Couldn't Have Picked a Sweeter Friend

It's time for another Color Throwdown! It's my turn to be challenge hostess this week and I've selected a color palette inspired by this trendy textile earth-toned rainbow--orange, peach, pink, and red.

I created a simple fall theme using the challenge colors and Reverse Confetti's Honey Bear stamp set. I colored up the bear, basket, and stack of apples with Copic markers and cut them out with the matching dies. The leafy treetop was stamped in orange ink on peach cardstock. It was filled in with the set's small apple image. For the background, I used a pink distress oxide and a cloud stencil to create the sky. After adding a kraft stitched hillside to the bottom of the stenciled panel, I added the image on top, using foam tape for dimension. The set's "I couldn't have picked a sweeter friend" sentiment was stamped in the bottom left corner of the panel in black ink using my MISTI. I framed the scene by placing it on a coordinating orange card base.
