Color Throwdown 670-You're My Superhero

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Wanda is our hostess with a mix of primary colors--blue, yellow, and red.

You're My Superhero card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
The layout for my design is based on the current sketch at Sunday Stamps.  I paired the colors and layout with my favorite big-eared bunny from The Cat's Pajamas. The superhero bunny was colored with Copic markers, then cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine. I used foam tape to place the bunny on a white circle. After matting the image on contrasting red cardstock, I adhered it to a blue card base over criss-crossed paper strips. The yellow strip is embossed with a star pattern to go with the superhero theme. The red patterned paper strip was fished out of my scrap pile. The pattern was a good match for the superhero theme, too. I stamped the "you're my superhero" sentiment beneath the image panel in black ink to complete the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD670.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd670 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's guest star stamper.
