Color Throwdown 673-Thinking of You

 
It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Broni is our hostess this week with a floral inspired color palette that's also perfect for seasonal designs--red, pink, and mint green.

I paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps and stamps, dies, and inks from Altenew. My focal image is one of the flowers from the Fabulous Florals set. I used my MISTI to line up and stamp the detailed layers of the bloom using pink and red inks. After stamping the leaf cluster in shades of mint ink, I used the matching dies to cut out the images. They were adhered to the left side of a red patterned paper panel using foam tape for dimension. I dressed up the panel with a pink satin ribbon knotted at the bottom and a solid red mat beneath it. The patterned panel was adhered to the right side of a mint green card base. I stamped the simple script "thinking of you" sentiment from the Thinking of You set beneath the leaves in black ink. A pair of gold glitter enamel dots arranged vertically to the left of the flower completed the design.
