It's time for another Color Throwdown! Broni is our hostess this week with a mix of colors inspired by a beautiful bird--gray, pink, and lime green.
My project is based on the layout from the previous Lawn Fawnatics challenge. I represented the layout's various sized circles with a mix of different sized speech bubbles cut from pink and lime green cardstock with Lawn Fawn's Chit Chat dies. It took a while for me to settle on an arrangement that I liked. Once I did, the die cuts were adhered to a white cardstock panel. I stamped the "you are in my thoughts" sentiment from the Butterfly Kisses set in gray ink on a gray fishtail flag strip, then used foam tape to position the strip on the panel. I scattered a few sequins in and around the speech bubbles to add a bit of sparkle. The finished panel was adhered to a lime green card base. I may go back and stamp "you" inside each of the bubbles...To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD683. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd683 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper.
