Color Throwdown 691-Berry Best

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess for this week's challenge sharing a fashion-inspired mix of colors--mint green, watermelon, light yellow, and navy.

You're the Berry Best card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I used the colors for a berry themed design featuring stamps from Lawn Fawn and based on the current challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. I colored up a pair of berries from the How You Bean? Strawberries Add-On stamp set with Copic markers, then cut them out by hand. The berries were adhered to a mint cardstock panel using foam tape for dimension. After edging the mint panel with a narrow strip of berry cardstock and wrapping a piece of navy ribbon around the center of the panel, I adhered it to a pale yellow floral patterned paper panel. The "you're the berry best" sentiment from LF's Sweet Friends stamp set was stamped at the bottom of the mint panel in navy ink. The patterned panel was adhered to a coordinating yellow card base to complete the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD691.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd691 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper Joanne James.
