Color Throwdown 699-Birthday Blues (and Purples, too!)

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Vickie is our hostess this week with a beautiful mix of colors--blue, purple, and white.
 

I paired the colors with the current challenge at The Paper Players. The large sentiment panel was a perfect fit for the "happy birthday to you" sentiment I created with stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti. The "happy" was die cut from purple and blue cardstock, with the blue letters adhered directly to the purple die cut word. I used foam tape to adhere the die cut piece to the white panel. The "birthday to you" sentiment was stamped beneath the die cut piece in purple ink. The panel was matted on purple cardstock, then adhered to a blue card base over a piece of blue patterned paper with a fun metallic silver pattern.
