It's time for another Color Throwdown! Susie is our hostess with a color scheme inspired by a fall tablescape--orange, green, and white.
The layout for my seasonal thank you design is from the current challenge at Sunday Stamps. I used a large stitched banner die to cut a panel from green patterned paper. The die cut panel was placed at the center of an olive cardfront. For contrast, I adhered a strip of orange cardstock edged with a narrow strip of white at the top of the cardfront. A pair of orange die cut stitched leaves were arranged at the bottom of the panel. For interest, I brushed the edges of the leaves with some brown distress ink and used foam tape to layer them. The "thanks" line border die from Lawn Fawn was cut from gold foil cardstock. I placed the word at the bottom of the fishtail flag panel, tucking the right side of the narrow border strip beneath the raised leaves.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD715. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd715 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
