Color Throwdown 734-Thinking of You

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rohl is our hostess this week with a color combination inspired by some St. Patrick's Day sweets--green, cream, and brown.

Thinking of You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Altenew
Here's my card for the challenge using the current layout from Sunday Stamps. I stamped the smaller of the two outline images from Altenew's Leafy Canopy stamp set in brown ink on a cream panel, then stamped the solid image inside the outline in green ink. The panel was matted on brown cardstock, then on a gold panel. I couldn't resist adding gold to these St. Patrick's Day colors! The matted panel was adhered to a green card base. I stamped one of the "thinking of you" sentiments from the Thinking of You set in brown ink on a narrow cream strip, then matted it on a brown strip before layering it on to the bottom of the image panel to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD734.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd734 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper.
