Color Throwdown 736-You're the Sugar in My Lemonade

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Lisa is our hostess this week with a pretty mix of colors--yellow, sage green, grey, and white.

You're the Sugar in My Lemonade card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I used the colors along with the Kitschy Kitchen stamps and dies from My Favorite Things for this clean and simple design. The pitcher and bowl were stamped in sage green ink, then cut out with the matching dies. I stamped a bunch of lemons using yellow ink and die cut those, too. After cutting a shelf from grey cardstock, I played around with a few different arrangements of all of the die cut elements before settling on the one I used on my design. I used foam tape on the bowl and lemons to add some dimension. The "you're the sugar in my lemonade" sentiment from the You Bake Me Happy stamp set was stamped beneath the shelf in the same green ink I used for the pitcher and bowl. The finished panel was adhered to a pale yellow card base matching the lemons.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD736.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd736 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper.
