Color Throwdown 746--Thanks a Bunch

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lisa is our hostess this week with a fun mix of colors--mint, grey, and pink.

Thanks a Bunch card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things

I paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps for this floral thank you design. The flowers were created with the Floral Bouquet dies from My Favorite Things. After settling on an arrangement, I used foam tape and regular adhesive to position the flowers at the lower right of a mint card base covered with a piece of gray patterned paper divided into thirds. The centers of the flowers were dressed up with tiny clear self-adhesive crystals for some sparkle and shine. The "thanks a bunch" sentiment from MFT's Bitty Thanks and Gratitude stamp set was stamped in black ink on a narrow mint cardstock strip. The strip was placed on the cardfront with the right edge tucked beneath the floral cluster to finish the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD746.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd746 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
