It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with a rich mix of colors--aqua, kraft, gold, and cream.
I used the colors and the layout from the current challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday for this coffee-themed design. My focal image is a small cream die cut to-go cup on an arch-shaped kraft panel with stitched detailing. The cup was adhered with foam tape to set it off from the backing panel. I used gold ink to stamp the "you've bean on my mind" sentiment from the My Favorite Things Coffee Order stamp set at the bottom of the panel, then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder to make it pop. The panel was placed on the left side of an aqua card base over a trio of gold foil cardstock strips. The gold foil is so hard to photograph, but it looks great IRL!To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD751. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd751 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
