Color Throwdown 781-Hello

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rysavy is our hostess with this floral inspired mix of colors--peach, yellow, and green.

Floral Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-dies from Altenew
I paired the colors with dies from Altenew to make a card with a fresh floral bouquet springing from an envelope. The flower and leaf pieces were die cut from cardstock scraps, then arranged in the envelope diecut. I placed the envelope on a yellow card base over a strip of peach cardstock that edged with a narrow strip of green for contrast. Instead of stamping a sentiment, I die cut the word "hello" from gold foil cardstock. After trimming down the left side of the die cut piece, I placed it on the cardfront, covering the seam between the peach and green strips and slightly overlapping the envelope. Simple, cheerful, and easy to mail, too!

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD781.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd781 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
