Color Throwdown 827-One in a Melon

It's time for another Color Throwdown! It's my turn to be challenge hostess and I've chosen a color combination based on this fun mug--teal, pink, and lime.

You're One in a Melon card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Altenew
I paired the colors with the current TGIF Challenge for this bright and cheery fruit themed thank you card. My focal image is a pair of watermelon slides stamped with Altenew's Mod Fruit Bowl stamp set. I arranged the images on a pair of layered rounded banner die cuts, then placed the panels on a lime green card base. The "you're one in a melon" sentiment was stamped on a bold pink fishtail flag strip that I adhered just beneath the melon images.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD827. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd827 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team.
