I decorated the outside of the tin with a simple piece of cream grosgrain ribbon. I thought about wrapping a strip of paper around the tin but decided that it might make it too thick to put the lid back on--LOL!
I decorated the clear lid with a scalloped circle and a stamped heart image from the Love & Luck stamp set.

The trio scalloped circles were attached to a strip of ribbon. Another scalloped circle is placed behind, sandwiching the ribbon between and keeping it secure. The end of the ribbon is secured inside the base of the tin, under one more scalloped circle. The letters fold up to fit inside for a surprise message when the tin is open. This was such an easy project to make and is so cute, too!
