Kitchen Sink Monday: New Stamps, New Challenge

For this week's Kitchen Sink Monday, all of the Kitchen Sink Crew will be showing off some of the new goodies coming this week from Kitchen Sink Stamps and playing in the latest Crew Challenge, too. Lisa has provided us with a great sketch to try for this month's challenge. If you play along, you just might win some goodies from the Kitchen. You can find all the contest details on the KSS Blog.

Here's my card using Lisa's sketch. I paired the new Words of Comfort and Joy set with the 3 Step Love Birds set for a soothing sympathy card. The bird is stamped with a combination of white, gray, and silvery inks. I stamped a portion of the sentiment in the lower right corner of the image panel and added a trio of Dew Drops to the upper right corner for balance.

I continued the rest of the sentiment on the solid soft blue panel beneath the image panel. I selected colors for the card to coordinate with the striped paper I used to cover most of the cardfront. A soft gray satin ribbon is wrapped around the bottom edge of the card to complete it.

Although the new sets aren't officially released until tomorrow, you can place your order today. You can check out all of the new sets right here. And, for a limited time (through July 12), you can buy the Full Sink, which includes all seven new sets at a 10% discount. And, don't forget, you can save 10% on your order at KSS with the code LORI10KSS. Happy shopping!
