Bee-Cause

Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge. I based it on the design and elements of this card. I switched it up a bit by making adjustments to the layout and by replacing the ladybug image with the cute bee from the DoodleFactory Valentine Remix set from Starving Artistamps.

The bee image is colored with Copic markers and highlighted with some really sparkly Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I cut around the image and attached it to the blue panel with a dimensional. I stamped the bee's head another time, colored it, and trimmed it out, then attached it to the colored body with a dimensional.

I used my paper piercing tool to make the bee's flight "trail," then layered the panel on a red mat. The image panel is layered on a blue panel stamped with the dotted background in matching blue ink. The coordinating sentiment is stamped in black ink. Perfect for any time of the year--not just Valentine's Day!

Don't forget that you can use the code savetenLT to save 10% on your Starving Artistamps and DoodleFactory stamp orders at Starving Artistamps. You don't want to miss the latest additions to the DoodleFactory line--Prehistoric and Into the Woods.
