I stamped the bug image 4 times on red cardstock using black ink and punched out the images using a 1 3/8” square punch. Each image is highlighted a little with a combination of Lipstick and Clear Spica glitter pens—very sparkly and shimmery IRL. I layered the bugs on a square of black cardstock, then used dimensionals to attach the panel to a red panel.
The “bee my honey” sentiment is stamped below the bug panel. I added a piece of black glimmer ribbon beneath the sentiment, then layered the panel on a black panel and then on a white card base so that it would be easy to write a message inside. Eye-catching and back to the basics (our theme for this month’s Paper Craft Planet DT gallery) all at the same time.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Chicken Girl Designs Hugs from a Bug stamp set; Palette Noir Black ink; Creative Impressions black glimmer ribbon; Copic Spica glitter pens (Lipstick and Clear)
Cute idea!
