I started with the nest and a portion of one of the tree images from the DoodleFactory Into the Woods stamp set from Starving Artistamps. The image is colored with Copic markers and layered on a pair of circles to coordinate with the colors in the October Afternoon designer paper that covers most of the cardfront.
I added a coordinating solid cardstock panel, covered with a strip of grosgrain ribbon. The image panel overlaps the lower portion of this panel. I added a cheery matching bow to the top of the image where it meets the panel.
I used a fancy border punch to decorate the edges of the Kiwi Kiss layer underneath the patterned paper. It took a few tries to get the corner done right, but I really like how it looks. The sentiment is stamped directly on the patterned paper--it almost blends in, but it's there!
