Casting a Spell

I made this Halloween card using this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge along with one of the sassy silhouette witch images from the Bewitched stamp set from Clear & Simple Stamps.

The witch image is stamped in black ink on a polished stone panel done in shades of yellow and orange with gold metallic accents. The "I've put a spell on you" sentiment is stamped in the upper right corner.

I used a strip of brightly colored designer paper along with a solid orange panel underneath the image. The solid and stripes are divided by a piece of green grosgrain ribbon. I added an orange button with black paper "thread" through the button holes. The panels are layered on a piece of black designer paper with embossed and glittered spider webs to complete the spooky, seasonal look.

Materials Used:
Bewitched stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust reinkers, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Basic Black, and Glossy White cardstock, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); designer paper (K & Company, DCWV); gold metallic mixative (Ranger); green ribbon (Michaels); Orange Zest button (Papertrey Ink)
