Lucky to Count You as a Friend

Here's my card for today's SCS clean and simple challenge. The challenge was to use shades of green and brown. I used pretty much entirely Papertrey Ink products on this quick one.

I started with a Spring Moss card base. A strip of Turning a New Leaf patterned paper runs partway across the cardfront, edged with a scalloped strip cut with PTI's medium scalloped die. I put a piece of Ripe Avocado satin ribbon across the patterned paper, covering the seam between the solid and patterned paper. A button embellished bow dresses it up just a little.

The "lucky to count you as a friend" sentiment from the Luck of the Irish stamp set is stamped above the patterned paper strip. I added the set's teeny, tiny clover to the right of the sentiment as a simple accent.

Materials Used:
Luck of the Irish stamp set, Ripe Avocado ink, Spring Moss cardstock, Turning a New Leaf patterned paper, Ripe Avocado satin ribbon, medium scallop edge die, wood button, twine (Papertrey Ink); Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
