A Note to Brighten Your Day

Before the month ends, I have one more card to share with you using images from the Spring set, this month’s Stamp of the Month from Clear and Simple Stamps. I created a bright and cheery note card using the set’s teeny, tiny umbrella images.

I inked each umbrella individually to get the rainbow colored line-up. To get the total of seven, I needed to stamp part of the image a second time—the clear images make it easy to line up just right. The stamped panel is layered on a Green with Envy mat, then on a Say Yellow to All Your Fans mat.

I covered a Green with Envy card base with a coordinating paper with a subtle grid pattern. I pleated some matching satin ribbon across the front of the card, then centered the image over the pleated ribbon, using foam tape to secure it. The set’s “just a note to brighten your day” sentiment is stamped underneath the image panel.

For more Clear and Simple Stamps inspiration, be sure to stop by the CSS app for your iPhone or iTouch. You can find all the details on downloading the app here. In the meantime, here’s a peek at my project that’s featured there today.
