Enjoy the Ride

This week’s TCP Tuesday challenge is a color challenge, courtesy of Tori, using a combination of mossy green, light blue, and gray. I hadn’t pulled out one of my TCP bunnies lately—and you know how I feel about bunnies!—so I inked up that adventurous bunny on a scooter from the Joyride set for this fun card.

The bunny and its scooter are colored with Copic markers—I have to admit that I got a little brighter than mossy green here . . . After cutting out the colored image, I set it on a road/sky combo panel using foam tape. A felt cloud sits behind the bunny, adding to the scene.

I machine stitched around the edge of a patterned paper panel, backed with some gray, before setting it on the mossy green cardfront. The little scene sits on top of the panel with a strip of celery twill extending from underneath it. I added a little bow at the end of the twill to dress it up, then stamped the set’s “enjoy the ride” sentiment underneath it in gray ink. The final touch was a light blue Icing CutUps strip across the bottom of the card—filled in that empty space perfectly!

I hope you'll play along with the Cat Pack in this week's challenge. As always, the weekly Cat Cash prize is up for grabs for one lucky participant who adds their creation to the guestbook on Alma's blog--as is a chance to be honored as the next Swanky Stamper. And, Alma will be sharing links to the Cat Pack's creations on her blog all week, so be sure to check in regularly for some eye candy and inspiration.
