Little Girl?
The latest Lawnscaping challenge is to create a party themed project. I’ve had Lawn Fawn’s adorable Plus One set in my collection for a while now and decided I’d ink it up for the challenge.
I used the set’s mobile as my focal image. It’s colored with Copic markers and the stars are sparkled up with a gold Spica pen. I added a tiny pearl to the center of the bow at the top of the mobile, too.
The cardfront uses three different patterned papers from Echo Park’s Little Girl Collection Kit. Even though this is a little boy card, the girl papers work perfectly for a baby boy card with their pastel shades and bold patterns. I machine stitched around the yellow and blue papers and added a piece of satin ribbon across the top of the green plaid one before setting the image panel onto the cardfront. I added a little bow made from the same ribbon at the top of the image panel. The set’s “let’s celebrate” sentiment is stamped at the bottom of the card and accented with a line of tiny pearls.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Plus One stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, X-press Copic blending cardstock, Copic markers (BG11, Y13, 18), and Gold Spica pen, Spellbinders circle dies, Echo Park Little Girl Collection Kit, May Arts white/light blue reversible satin ribbon, Bow Easy, Zva Creative self-adhesive pearl lines
other: Baja Breeze and Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); sewing machine
