TCP Tuesday 171-How've You Bean?

For this week’s TCP Tuesday challenge, our hostess Jen provided this fabulous inspiration collage as a starting point. Though the photo is definitely holiday-themed, I managed to come up with something un-holiday but still warm and cozy.

I took my inspiration from the red, white, and kraft colors I saw in the photos. I used the little girl image from the You Suit Me set and dressed her up in a paper pieced gingham outfit, just like the red gingham napkin in the photo. The rest of the cute girlie is colored with Copic markers. I added a little glittery sparkle to the steam from her mug before cutting her out and using foam tape to set her on a kraft circle.

In a nod to the dots on the ornament, I set her on a white dot embossed panel. I added the “how’ve you bean?” sentiment on a red strip and accented it with a trio of red buttons at the end.

If you're feeling inspired by the photo, go ahead and whip something up, then share it in the guestbook found on Alma's blog. One lucky participant in this week's challenge will win some Cat Cash to spend at TCP. And, while you're there, be sure to check out the links to the Cat Pack's creations that Alma's been posting on her blog all week for some eye candy and even more inspiration.
